Lacie mentally takes aim at nearby shadows in sight(her own included), manipulating them into reddish, thorn-like vines They can be controlled to lacerate, bind, or pierce. As the spell merely gives shadows a weaponized, coporeal form, these thorns are rather fragile and can be cut through conventional means such as (and not limited to) slashing or burning. Complete absence of shadows render the spell useless. (Eg: in the air/ underwater) Overall spell potency is halved in extremely lighted areas. Fortunately that has never stopped her from using 1-3 to do her makeup in the day. So yes she's fairly proficient in delicate control.
● Thorn vines reach up to 10m from cast point. 
● Lacie is currently able to manipulate 3 shadow pools at a time. They must be in sight. She hates maintaining any number more than 1 though....
● Energy cost and number of thorns summon-able are proportionate to the length of the selected shadow. 10cm = 1 thorn = 1% energy. So a shadow of her height would spawn a maximum of 17 thorns and require 17% energy. Counted per shadow. Manipulating 3 of those at the same time would cost 51% energy. So obviously, excessive use would tire her out.
● Cooldown counter starts when the 20th thorn has been summoned. For a duration of 10 minutes.

Somnium
A shadowy flower ring encircles a part of the target (neck, wrist, head etc.) feeding them sweet illusions of their wildest, most wanted dreams and putting them in a highly invigourated state. As if they were basking in Eden itself. Over time, the shadow flowers will continue to creep and bloom, covering more and more of the target's body as the illusions intensify. Effects can range from a simple energy buff, to a complete loss of reality depending on the time elapsed, and the target's mental strength. This spell is a gambling chip. With enough time, it will turn the target into an indiscriminate attacker that can't tell friend from foe. Best not to leave it in effect for too long due to this double-edged nature. There is no telling when an entranced target slips into indiscriminate berserker status from feeling too top of the world. Lacie is required to be in physical contact with the target to set the ring, afterwards, they are free to part. But she has to maintain focus throughout the rest of the spell's duration, therefore it can only be used on one target at a time. Breaking her concentration or simply striking the ring with light magic would dissolve the spell.

● Requires physical contact for no less than 13 seconds to set the shadowy flower ring. Spell commences afterwards.
● Due to the constant focus required for this spell, Lacie has only succeeded in maintaining it for 21 minutes.
● A normal person's grip on reality would start to slip around the 7 minute mark. Some are weaker. Some are more resilient.
● Cooldown of 1 hour. Using it more than 3 times a day would give her a migraine. And she hates that.

Briar Rose
An unnecessarily fancy onyx claw inscribed with runes to aid Lacie's spellcasting. Translucent around the fingertips to show off her manicure, deepening to opaque at its tapered ends and adorned with a single roselike ornament fashioned from ruby. Mostly used to provide extra reach for her closer ranged spells, rather than as a conventional weapon.
